Moroso – Fresh from Milan launches in the redesigned London showroom

Moroso’s London showroom redesign will be revealed this week during Clerkenwell Design Week, 22-24 May 2018. Plus CDW Talk with Patrizia Moroso & Bethan Ryder, Editor, Wallpaper* Online and Designer Workshop.

The iconic Italian contemporary furniture company will be showcasing its new look with highlights from its 2018 launches direct from Milan’s recent Salone del Mobile. Dynamic shapes, textures, materials, finishes and colours harmonise the design inspiration.

The new collection salutes Moroso’s style signature through upholstered furniture. Doshi Levien has contributed a new addition to the Casa Modernista line – a subtle homage to Gregori Warchavchik, the Russian-Ukrainian architect responsible for promoting modern architecture in Brazil in the 1920s – that makes a striking statement in the revamped space.

A further enhancement of the London showroom is the establishment of an expansive dedicated space to showcase Diesel Living by Moroso. The collection takes its inspiration from an informal lifestyle concept and comprises products with a relaxed and comfortable agenda appealing to consumers looking for a simple modern style of high quality with a distinctively fashionable design edge.

In conversation: Patrizia Moroso and Bethan Ryder, Editor Wallpaper* Online, will be discussing her design concepts, particularly her use of textiles and quest for finding and nurturing emerging talent, including Bethan Laura-Wood and her 20-year design collaboration with Patricia Urquiola.
