Word up from Clerkenwell Design Week 2016

It’s approaching guys. The weather is just starting to turn and I’ve nearly stopped wearing tights. It can only mean one thing. CDW is about to descend and take over EC1 with all its design goodness. Have you registered yet?

CDw, fedrigoni

Head on over to Fedrigoni for live screen-printing sessions with Rob Lowe of Supermundane and South East Print Studio. A great chance to try out your art skills and learn something new.

tom dixon

In a special pop up this year Tom Dixon’s showcases his material at St James’ Church-  exploring the substances and raw matter used in the designs of his extraordinary objects.

Located within the historic St John’s Gate, you wont be able to miss HakFolly this May, a bespoke, 4.5m high-stacked timber structure. Designed by FleaFolly Architects in collaboration with Dutch wood flooring manufacturer Hakwood, the installation aims to bring visitors a much needed moment of calm.

mass productions

Massproductions’ signature collection Tio gets a refresh with a range of new colours for #CDW2016. They’re also bringing their Endless shelving system and Ferric workshop table – catch them at DesignFields.

Head to Brewhouse Yard for yet another chance to relax – BDP has re-designed it’s external space with sculptural shaping, enhanced planting and a subtle soundscape to create a vibrant urban oasis to enjoy. See you in amongst the shrubs!

It’s no secret that CDW will look very different this year- no Farmiloe, changed layout and loads of new spaces- we can’t wait! OMXX have been the brains behind the way the show is navigated. Read more here.
