Ex.t in Milan

We love ex.t. Their stands at shows are always completely inspiring and beautifully crafted and the designers they choose to work with are always top notch. They have some great collaborations coming out for Milan with our firm favourites Norm Architects as well as a new collection with Sebastian Herkner. Enjoy!

Norm Architects are presenting their second collection for Ex.t. called Frame & Rest. Inspired by bathroom consoles from industrial interiors and mid 20th century Danish design furniture, the result is a light, airy set of bathroom furniture which can evolve along with your home whilst decorating many different living spaces.

Plateau, the first bathroom collection for German designer Sebastian Herkner, is inspired by the idea of playing and experimenting with shapes and colours. That’s how a sidetracking plateau came up. Functional and elegant, the plateau detail is a feature in every piece from the bathtub and washbasin to the mirrors.

Not many people have room for a bathroom which has its own dressing area and lounging about space (we know we don’t) but if we did, we would want it to look like the above set up from Norm Architect’s Frame and Rest range.

These gorgeous lights have been designed especially to sit alongside the Herkner range. Called Raso they are made to be tactile; to blur the boundaries of the space the the body. We definitely need that on a Monday morning……
