Josiah DAB radio and Wireless speaker

Josiah combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. A ceramic body made in Stoke-on-Trent houses a wireless Bluetooth speaker or DAB digital radio.

Studio Yayo designed the Josiah for Kwamecorp in Soho, London, where the final pieces were assembled.

The radio version comes topped with a wooden plate that contains the four buttons the control the volume and preset stations.

The wireless speakers have built-in waterproof containers and can even hold small plants. The speaker uses Bluetooth technology to pick up audio streaming from up to thirty feet way.

Watch the video below to see how the Josiah speakers and radios are made and assembled:

The Josiah will be at the Super Design Market at 100% Design this September.
